I think it was safe to say everyone was looking forward to this gig. This was our 3rd year back playing at Wilkestock and it was promised to be bigger and better. We were headlining playing at 10pm, so a nice long wait until we get to do our thing…. spreading the love!

Its a good size stage at Wilkestock. Which is quite nice because for the last couple of gigs it been a little bit of a squeeze up on stage. So to have so room again was great for pulling some shapes.
We and an hour long set which is long enough to take everyone through a good journey. From reggae to up beat crazy full on ska, like we do best.

As every year at Wilkestock the crowd were up for a party and from the start they were dancing and didn’t stop. A couple of years ago we had a stage invasion. I thought this was gonna happen again on saturday when a blonde girl got up for a track. I think she got a bit embarrassed and got off stage pretty sharpish. As the crowd started picking up the pace there were two young kids at the front tight against the barrier, Poppy and Wolfgang. To get them out of the firing line we pulled them up on stage and there they stayed till the end. What a pair of brilliant dancers they did not stop for the whole set. Well done to both of you.

Thanks to the crowd, Poppy and Wolfgang. And to Wilkestock for letting us come set your stage on fire again. See you next time.

Jacko
